The FishClip is designed to securely house standard treble hooks for both fresh and saltwater lures, and it also safely encases single hooks. It is specifically designed to cover sharp points instantly and prevent any movement or accidental opening.

Yes! The FishClip attaches to every rod. Every clip features two sizes of elongated C-Clips—our strong, proprietary grip mechanisms—that attach firmly to most standard rod blanks, typically between the first line guide and the reel. There are also two hooks on either end that will hook through a line guide.

Simply push The FishClip onto the rod and slide down until the fit is firm. Then push the "Rod Locks" mechanism to engage. Note: If the C-Clips do not fit your specific rod diameter, the hooks on either end of The FishClip are designed to hook securely through a line guide. The colors indicate size, ensuring you get the perfect fit. Every FishClip comes with two sizes of C-Clips, and the Rod Lock slides over the rod to provide 33% more grip coverage for secure transport.

We color-coded them to make it easy to remember:

• Black (B is for Bigger): Fits larger rod diameters.
• Silver (S is for Smaller): Fits smaller rod diameters.

Note: If neither clip fits your specific rod, you can simply hook the ends of The FishClip through a line guide.

Yes. The Fish Clip is constructed from marine-grade, impact-resistant polymer that is both UV and saltwater resistant. It will not rust, ensuring long-term durability.

No. The Fish Clip is for securing hooks during transport and storage only. You must remove the clip before casting...though a FishClip Pro is in design that will allow fishing while attached to the rod. Great for Tournament fishing and maximized hook-up ratio.

The FishClip allows progressively covering each hook as it is freed from the net. If you have to go help your buddy and come back, the hook(s) are still covered!

Yes. The FishClip is compact and will easily fit within an empty slot in your tackle box tray. It will fit in any shirt, jacket, or pant pocket. You can even clip it to your hat!
